Full time employees receive a portion of their health insurance paid for by Nova Gymnastics. Various PPO and HMO plans are provided by Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Texas. Optional dental plans are also available.
Part time employees may be added to the Nova Gymnastics group policy with 100% of the monthly premiums being deducted from their paycheck.
Salaried employees are eligible for one week of PTO upon completion of their probationary period. Hourly employees (full and part time) are eligible for PTO on their one-year anniversary date of hire. Additional hours are added for subsequent years of employment. Salaried and full time employees are paid when Nova Gymnastics is closed for major holidays. Details are available in the employee handbook.
Nova Gymnastics’ Tuition Reimbursement Program encourages and supports employees who want to earn an associates, bachelors, or masters degree from a college or university. Full and part time employees are eligible to apply for tuition reimbursement. 100% of the cost of tuition, books, and fees may be reimbursed up to 12% of an employees total pay.
Employees who work at Nova Gymnastics during high school are eligible to receive a cash bonus upon graduation to help offset the cost of college tuition. This scholarship is in addition to the Tuition Reimbursement Policy. The amount of the bonus is equal to 12% of the employee’s gross earnings from the date of hire to the date of high school graduation.
